I am delighted and privileged to welcome you to THE CITI HEALTHWORLD INSTITUTE OF NURSING (MALE), DURGAPUR, an initiative of DURGAPUR ROYAL EDUCATIONAL AND WELFARE SOCIETY. Contributing to society through nursing has been a long-cherished dream which I inherited from my mother late Smt. Himu Dutta who was an acclaimed nursing professional. The unprecedented global tragedy created by the COVID-19 pandemic only gave me the required conviction and courage to (MALE) transform my dream into reality and THE CITI HEALTHWORLD INSTITUTE was launched. At RHI (MALE) our foremost objective is to contribute to the health care domain and by virtue of its support the community by establishing the institution as a reputed Centre for learning and education.

We strive to achieve outstanding educational outcomes and provide the best quality of faculties and facilities to our dear nursing students who in turn become the best nursing professionals.

Nursing, according to me, is a unique profession which has a blend of cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains. Nursing education empowers one to lift oneself from darkness to light.
