Course Overview

The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course at The City Healthworld Institute of Nursing is a comprehensive three-year diploma program designed to prepare students for a professional career in nursing.

Students also receive practical training in various healthcare settings, ensuring they gain hands-on experience in patient care. The program includes a mandatory six-month internship, which provides students with real-world exposure and enhances their clinical skills.

  • WBJEE Exam Appeard.
  • Candidates will be chosen for admission to the Government of West Bengal Health and Family Welfare’s General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) programme based on their performance in the common Entrance test.
  • Candidates should have passed class 12 from the West Bengal council of higher Secondary Education or from any recognized Council/Board securing a minimum of 40% in aggregate.
  • The candidate should be an Indian national and a permanent resident of the District of West Bengal.

The Institute building is situated in NH-2, Banskopa, P.O- Rajbandh, Durgapur, Paschim Bardhaman, both are compulsory residential training course. The Institute is having two-storey building with ideal teaching learning set up and lecture Hall, Laboratory, Library, Canteen facilities. The atmosphere is calm, quiet & ideal for teaching and learning process.
